The European Bike Week at the lake Faak, is the biggest motorcycle meeting in Europe. Something that has to be experienced at least once in your lifetime.
It is unique; in fact it is «our European» response to the previously called Black Hills Classic, today’s the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota/USA. So if the flight to the USA and the jet-lag do not appeal to you, then this is the unique alternative, in Europe. Or vice-versa, if you join us from the USA, to see how we do it in Europe.
In 2018 it attracted over 200’000 people.

An area pulsates in the V-Twin-strokes
All started in the first weekend of September 1998; a meeting for Harley Davidson’s riders. It attracted about 15’000 fans and visitors.
At that time, no one suspected what would come out of that and what impact it would have for the region. Today over 100’000 people attend the yearly event. More than 60’000 hotel-nights are booked each year and an estimated of ten million euros flows into the accounts of the local businesses. It’s a magnet that attracts, young and older women and men of all social classes and from various parts of the world and its the largest motorcycle meeting in Europe.
The region is huge. They will enough time to discover it with only a few people on the roads. An event not to be missed!
For 2024, the organizers have increased their offer. Velden the little village on the lake Wörther will be revived and will therefore split the crowd and make the gathering even more attractive. That means less people at one place!
The parade will still take place on Saturday and will end as usual late. Thousands of spectators along the parade route «battle» to get the best places in the front rows, closest to the road.
Easy comfortable ride to the event with many attractions along the way
Our tour start in Bern Switzerland and we take the long way to the «V-Twin Mecca». Along selected panoramic roads, as much as possible away from mass-tourism and mostly known to locals, we ride to the castle of Neuschwanstein, Obermoos with a trip to the Zugspitze, then to Berchtesgaden, over the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, through National parks, over mountains and Alp-passes, with many must see sightseeing’s.
Our thoroughly planed itinerary lets you discover countless attractions and are the result of nearly 50 years of experiences.
We reach the Lake Faak on the starting day of the Rally and will settle in a luxurious and exclusive 5* hotel and health resort.
Why a five stars hotel with a health resort? We use the same hotel since over twenty five years. It has excellent rooms for us, is quiet, very nice and comfortable with all you need, has an outstanding cuisine, offers private locked garage for our motorcycles, and it gives an alternative from the day activities.

Once you got tired of watching people, visiting the stands and the Rally, we strongly advice you to join us to discover that superb region with our various day-trips. It would be a waste of time not to discover the many sights and must see attractions around the lake Faak. We can talk and depending on your interests, you may choose from a day trip over passes, to Italy or to Slovenia.
The ride back home on Saturday is shorter with one overnight!
