Tour: Great tour of Switzerland – Part East

The first part of an exclusive and memorable journey for the perceptive and sharp traveller-motorcyclist!

Tour Description

Great Tour of Switzerland – Part 1 East

Cross through all the twenty-six spectacular cantons of Switzerland, ride over the highest and magnificent high alpine passes and have a close up in some of the country’s most thrilling and unique attractions.

This is your opportunity to sample Switzerland’s specialties and delicacies: its four languages with their various dialects; its rich traditions and culture; to taste a multitude of typical regional cuisines, and to sleep in one-of-a-kind accommodations with great views.

Discover it the authentic way, just like an insider, with a friendly and professional local guide. He speaks the Swiss languages, he has a great knowledge of the country, he can connect the participants to the local people, let you know of the uncountable particularities in Switzerland, and he will make you feel at home in this breath-taking country.

We suggest; you arrive two days before the start of the tour. This will give you time to acclimatize, to rest (jet-lag), to visit the federal capital of Switzerland Berne and its surroundings and to feel confident with your motorcycle especially if you are unsure about the riding in the Alps with switchback curves. This grand tour itinerary covers over 3’000 km (1’865 miles) and is divided into two sections. Make your choice – either Switzerland Part 1 East or Switzerland Part 2 West or why not dare to ride both!
